On the above year group pages, you will find weekly work set by teachers, which will mainly focus on English and Maths. Whilst the school is closed, the web pages above will be updated with work for children to complete in their home learning books.
These websites are key to continuing the learning at home whilst the school is closed. It is essential that children are completing work set from the Kidbrooke Park Primary School website - and completing work and interacting with their class teachers via Tapestry and Purple Mash - every week.
For children in Key Stages 1 and 2, Purple Mash contains additional English and Maths activities set by your child's class teacher, as well as the topic work that is due to be completed for that week. Purple Mash can also be used as a general resource for completing projects and extra learning whilst at home. Click here for a handy parents' guide on how to use the tools and resources within Purple Mash. Within Purple Mash is the Parents' Portal - more information on this can be found by clicking here. It may also be worth noting that all children in Years 2 - 6 also have access to Times Tables RockStars, for practising multiplication facts at home.
If you are having difficulty logging in, please email email@example.com, stating the name and year group of your child, and a member of staff will respond as soon as possible. Additionally, if your child has any questions about the work provided, or any concerns or worries, please email using the address above.
Below you will find the links to the essential websites used in school, as well as links external websites that we feel may be useful to use at home during this closure.
UPDATE: We thought Parents and Carers might find it useful to know that Kindle have made a selection of educational and recreational eBooks free to read, and also, Audible have made available a huge selection of free Audiobooks.(Tapestry for Early Years)(Mini Mash for Early Years)
